The Real Meaning of Engineer

Who is an Engineer?


An engineer is a professional practitioner of engineering, concerned with applying scientific knowledge, physics, mathematics and creativity to develop solutions for technical problems & something value for natural resources.



Engineer plays a role on designer,planner,builder,architect,producer,fabricator,developer,creator
,inventor,originator,deviser,contriver,mastermind.
The essential qualities needed for one to become an engineer are the following:
  1. Ability to understand and comprehend scientific principles
  2. Aptitude for asking pertinent questions
  3. Eagerness to experiment
  4. Inclination towards problem-solving
  5. Logical thinking, capacity to imagine and visualise
  6. Ability to conceptualise and find solutions
  7. Passion for engineering and technology
  8. Willingness to focus and work for long hours
Parents should not force their wards into engineering unless he/she has some of the above qualities. Joining an engineering college might seem to be easy, but becoming an engineer is not so: it involves Hardwork, sincerity & commitment.

credit cards. Forced to live out in the streets with his son, Gardner is now desperate to find a steady job; he takes on a job as a stockbroker, but before he can receive pay, he needs to go through 6 months of training, and to sell his devices.

Troy is an epic movie.
It is also known as Trojan War.
An adaptation of Homer's great epic, the film follows the assault on Troy by the united Greek forces and chronicles the fates of the men involved.It is the year 1250 B.C. during the late Bronze age. Two emerging nations begin to clash after Paris, the Trojan prince, convinces Helen, Queen of Sparta, to leave her husband, Menelaus, and sail with him back to Troy. After Menelaus finds out that his wife was taken by the Trojans, he asks his brother Agamemnon to help him get her back. Agamemnon sees this as an opportunity for power. So they set off with 1,000 ships holding 50,000 Greeks to Troy. With the help of Achilles, the Greeks are able to fight the never before defeated Trojans. But they come to a stop by Hector, Prince of Troy. The whole movie shows their battle struggles and the foreshadowing of fate in this remake by Wolfgang Petersen of Homer's "The Iliad."

The man behind the indian inventions(The missile man of india).


Sir  Dr.Abdul kalam was born on 15 october 1931 at Rameswaram,Tamilnadu.He specialised in Aerospaceengineering from Madras Institute of Technology.He initially joined DRDO in 1958 and joined Indian Space Research Organisation ISRO  in 1963.At ISRO , he initiated fibre reinforced plastic activitives.He later Satellite Launch Vehicle team at Thumba and became athe Project Director for SLV-3.He has made significant contributions to the Indian Satellite Launch Vehicle.He rejoined DRDO in 1982 and was instrumental in the resurgence of the Defence Research & Development Labaratory (DRDL), Hyderabad.Out of his initiative was born the Integrated Guided Missile Development Programme (IGMDP), which is the most successful Indian milatary research task to-date.He was also heading other prestigious projects,such as the MBT Arjun and the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) projects.
 Dr.Abdul Kalam was conferred with the Degree of  Doctor of Science by several universities. He is the recipitent of several awards including National Design Award :Dr Brien Roy Space  Award;Om Prakash Bhasin Award ; National Nehru Award; Prof Y Nayugadamma Memorial Gold  Medal (1996);GM Modi Award for Science(1996);HK Firodia Award for excellence in S&T (1996); and Indira Gandhi Award for National Integration(1997).He has been awarded Padma Bhushan in 1981,Padma Vibhushan in 1990 and Bharat Ratna , the highest civilan award of India, in 1997.Veer Savarkar Award in 1998;Ramanujan Award in 2000.King Charles 2 Medal in 2007; International von Karman Wings Award in 2009.Hoover Medal in 2009.He is the Vice President of Astronautical Society of India, Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering and Indian Academy of sciences, Bangalore, and an Honarary  Fellow of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers.
Dr Abdul Kalam has been a strong advocate of Self -reliance in defence technology.A Connoisseur of Classical Karnatak music , he plays veena in his leisure.
He is well-versed and has written poetry in Tamil .Seventeen of his poems were translated into English and Published in 1994 as a book titled My Journey . He is also the author of two books , titled India 2020 ; A vision for the New Millennium,1998; wings of fire ; An Autobiography , 1998.
A.P.J.Abdul Kalam was sworn in as the 11th President of India by Cheif Justice of India on july 25,2002 in the Central Hall of Parliament . He has replaced K.R.Narayan , who completed a five year term.After leaving a Office,Kalam becames a visting professor at some Indian  institue of                 techonologys (IIT 'S).                                                                                                               
In May 2012, Kalam launched a programme for the youth of India called the What Can I Give Movement, with a central theme of defeating corruption.
In 2011, Kalam was criticised by civil groups over his stand on the Koodankulam nuclear power plant; he supported the establishment of the nuclear power plant and was accused of not speaking with the local people. The protesters were hostile to his visit as they perceived to him to be a pro-nuclear scientist and were unimpressed by the assurances provided by him regarding the safety features of the plant.

On 27 July 2015, Kalam travelled to Shillong to deliver a lecture on "Creating a Livable Planet Earth" at the Indian Institute of Management, Shillong. While climbing a flight of stairs, he experienced some discomfort, but was able to enter the auditorium after a brief rest. At around 6:35 p.m, only five minutes into his lecture, he collapsed, Kalam was confirmed dead of a sudden cardiac arrest at 7:45 p.m . His last words, to his aide srijan pal singh, were reportedly: "Funny guy! Are you doing well?
